Susan spent over 35 years as a wealth advisor, assisting clients in planning the financial side of retirement. She saw a common thread among her clients: Having enough money to retire was only a piece of the retirement puzzle. It was the non-financial side that had the greatest impact on the predictability of a successful retirement. Susan went on to co-found Next Chapter Lifestyle Advisors where she works with individuals, families, wealth management firms and their clients to provide non-financial retirement planning and advising expertise. Susan also founded SucessDNA, a company that helps baby boomers “rewire not retire” and offers customized career solutions for those seeking a job transition. She does this through a power assessment tool called Successfinder, which helps clients know themselves on a deeper level and create a more fulfilling transitional experience. Susan is the author of 9 Steps to a RichLife Retirement, The RichLife: Managing Wealth and Purpose, It’s Not Just about the Money: The Whole Life Approach to Wealth Management, co-author of On the Shoulders of Atlas: a Story about Transitioning a Family Owned Business and co-author of Thriving Throughout Your Retirement Transition. She is certified Retirement Coach (CPRC), a Family Enterprise Advisor, FEA, (Family Enterprise Exchange), and holds an Executive MBA. A former board member of Richardson Financial Group, Susan also holds her ICD.D designation (Institute of Corporate Directors). She is a world traveler, aspiring rower, mom, grandmother, certified yoga teacher, and roof-top gardener living at the intersection of life and fulfillment.
