Susan Runnels is a dedicated advocate and active parent who brings a wealth of experience and compassion to her work. A graduate of the University of Michigan, where she earned degrees in Mathematics and an MBA, Susan spent her career blending analytical skills with empathy and insight. She mentored women working to move up in the corporate world of competition and high expectations. For over six years, Susan served as a Guardian ad Litem, appointed by the Family Court to advocate for children who have been removed from their homes. Her role brought her face-to-face with the daily realities of supporting separated children and counseling desperate parents. Susan’s work exemplifies her ability and commitment to guiding families through difficult times with resilience and understanding. Now retired, she is writing books that share strategies and techniques for resolving problems, improving relationships and family life, and exploring new ideas.
