I wrote my first book at 10 about a girl and boy who could time travel with a magic stone. I haven't stopped reading or writing since. Growing up in a small town without a library, I favored stories about ordinary girls who found themselves in extraordinary circumstances. THE TALISMAN CHRONICLES is female-centric and written for the young and the young at heart who still appreciate fairy tales and legends. My heroines are not damsels in distress - they use wit and instinct to save the day rather than swordplay. If you were the type of child who read under the sheets with a flashlight; still reads voraciously; and wants an entire series of book in hardcover in chronological order on their bookshelf, we have found each other! The dynasty founded by the first Rhiannon in Britannia in the 6th century still endures today as the 14th of her name, a young American girl, discovers she is heir to her family's destiny. Separated by centuries, but bound by blood, both heroines discover evil is inevitable.
