I am a wife, a mother of 3 young adults, a vocalist, a family business owner, an entrepreneur, and an author. I grew up in SW Philadelphia and eventually landed in Doylestown PA at the age of 56. I wanted to write this book from the time I was 16, so many years ago but I supposed at that time, I didn't have enough drama to make it very interesting. :) This book is my way of sharing the very fact that we all deal with trauma of some sort in life, be it major or minor. Trauma affects us all on a deep level. It can paralyze us if we let it. But there is a light at the end of the tunnel, and we can absolutely change our world if we change the way we think and see every situation. We are the creators of our own reality, but the trick is understanding that and embracing it! I grew up wishing that just one person would take me under their wing or at least lend an ear, but because I never had that, my mission has always been to be that for someone else in need. If I only help one human, it would mean the world to me.
