Suzanne Reisman likes reading, exploring weird places, sleeping, eating, and wandering aimlessly around New York and other cities around the world. She lives in Manhattan with her husband, a teddy bear named Theo, and the ghost of a 13 lb. pet rabbit, but, unwilling to abandon her Chicago-area roots, insists on calling soda "pop," and sneakers "gym shoes." Her first book is "Off the (Beaten) Subway Track: New York City's Best Unusual Attractions," a travelogue about/guide to unusual places and things to do in NYC. Currently, she is working on a novel set in Warsaw in the 1930s. When not writing, Suzanne puts her Master's in Public Administration/Public Policy to good use by working with non-profit organizations in New York City. She also has an MFA in creative nonfiction from the New School.
