Tammy Borden is a professional writer turned novelist, with a passion for writing compelling and evocative narratives based on true stories. As a first-generation American, she has a rich history of stories from family members who grew up in oppressive regimes.

Her debut historical novel depicts the true story of her mother growing up during World War II under Nazi rule. "Waltraud: A True Story of Growing Up in Nazi Germany" is a heart-gripping narrative from the untold perspective of a German girl growing up under the watchful eyes of Nazi leaders, and demonstrates incredible strength, courage, and resistance under Hitler's regime.

Tammy also authored "A Perennial Life — Finding Purpose in Every Season." This faith-based memoir shares her own life story and the journey to find herself after a tumultuous childhood and life-threatening eating disorder. It encourages and empowers those struggling with poor self-esteem, addiction, self-harm, bulimia, anorexia, and other behavioral addictions, and helps readers discover God and His purpose for their lives in the process.
