TASH HAWTHORNE is the author of Karma: With A Vengeance (winner of the 2009 Black Pearl Magazine’s Best New Author Award.) This in addition to two other critically acclaimed novels including Karma 2: For the Love of Money, Karma 3: Beast of Burden. She is a Newark International Film Festival Award finalist, as well as the recipient of the Queen City Film Festival Best Screenplay Award for the film-adapted screenplay for Karma: With A Vengeance. Her upcoming novel Vüdü Dahl is slated for release this year. Ms. Hawthorne currently resides in New Jersey with her two sons and serves as the Dramatic Arts Director at Plainfield High School in Plainfield, NJ. She enjoys all facets of storytelling, mentoring Black and Latino youth, spending her summers down south and dancing.
