Thomas Louis Carroll is the author of the novels "The Dogs Who Play Baseball", "Lawrence and the Ant Colony", and "Young and Dumb: Year of Years". He grew up in New York City and went west after graduating from Bard College in upstate New York. After several years in California, he now lives with his wife Sheri, a successful Educational Assistant, in Santa Fe, New Mexico, where he writes and runs a public relations company, Carroll Strategies. He has three incredible daughters who live in California. He has also written screenplays and produced and directed two films, Big Bad Budget, seen on PBS stations all across the country, and Who Stole the Tasmanian Devils? When not writing, Tom is an avid skier, windsurfer, swimmer, and dogsledder, which he does most years in Northern Minnesota.
