Thomas Quinn is a writer for print and television, and a documentary producer and director. He received an M.F.A. in Writing from The American Film Institute, worked as a Story Analyst for Universal, DreamWorks and HBO, and was an entertainment reporter for a weekly Los Angeles magazine. For 18 years, Tom has traveled the world producing for the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, National Geographic, Travel Channel, BBC and others. His programs investigate strange cultures, bizarre beliefs, and deconstruct everything from famous urban legends to supernatural beliefs to conspiracy theories. He also presents humorous lectures on these same subjects. Tom's shows cover subjects as wide-ranging as shark attacks, the Freemasons, archeology, astronomy, national parks, science fiction, and exotic cultures around the world. In 2005, he received two Emmy nominations as both writer and producer of the History Channel documentary, "Time Machine: Beyond the Da Vinci Code."
