Tim White was born and raise primarily in Texas in the home of a Church pastor, with two sisters and a brother. There he adopted a comical view of most situations and a creative style of expressing it. Known for his instant wit and love of laughing, he has navigated some of the most trying times with a smile. He was married to Laura (Laws) White in 1980. He received an Associates of Science degree from Jacksonville College, TX. He attended Dallas Baptist University and Mary-Harden Baylor in Belton, TX. He received his Bachelors in Ministry at Christian Bible College, Rocky Mount, NC. Tim and Laura have one son, Ryan, who is now married to Shawna (Moffett) White and they live in Colorado. Tim was a newspaper writer for several Texas papers, including the San Angelo Standard Times, Abilene Reporter News, Palestine Herald Press and Dallas Morning News. He was Sports Writer of the Year while editing the sports pages of the DeLeon Free Press, DeLeon, TX for three years. Tim's first novel, A Single Heart, is currently out of print but is still circulating on Amazon as used books become available.
