Tom Blank is a senior instructor at the renowned Groundlings Theatre & School. He designed and taught curriculum at the prestigious National High School Institute at Northwestern University, ran an independent improv school, and trained corporate clients from boutique agencies to media behemoths. He started his career as a mechanical engineer working for Fortune 500 companies while getting degrees in business and art at night. Then he discovered improv and began hunting down its secrets through the major improv theatres and various gurus, a long pursuit that has been both revealing and entertaining. Tom lives in Los Angeles where he thinks about getting a dog.
