Tony Nester has taught survival courses since 1989 and has worked with the National Transportation & Safety Board, US Marshals, FAA, and served as a technical consultant for the movie Into The Wild. His company, Ancient Pathways, LLC is the primary provider of desert survival training for Military Special Operations units from around the world. Tony is the author of twelve books & three DVDs. He has been featured in the NY Times, Backpacker Magazine, Maxim, Travel Channel, NBC, and the Discovery Channel. When not out on the trail, he writes mantracking and post-apocalyptic fiction books under his pen name, JT Sawyer.
