Tracy Diane combines her scientific expertise with storytelling talent to inspire her readers. Born in Princeton, West Virginia, she discovered her passion for geology during her freshman year at Furman University, where what began as required science credits transformed into a lifelong career path. After earning her Bachelor of Science in geology from Furman and a Master's degree from the University of South Carolina, Tracy worked as an environmental consultant before founding Mini Me Geology and The Rock Detectives Club—educational platforms that make earth science accessible and exciting for children and families. Her Crystal Cave Adventures series merges her love of geology with middle-grade adventure fiction. Her upcoming releases include The Diamond Murder, a cozy mystery set in the mountains of western North Carolina, and Outtake, a psychological thriller set in the beautiful Cotswolds in England. Tracy currently resides in Asheville, North Carolina, where the Blue Ridge Mountains provide constant inspiration for her writing.
