Dr. Tyrone Wilson is an author, cybersecurity professional, and researcher whose work spans both fiction and technology. Born and raised in Chicago, he draws upon real-world experiences, academic research, and a deep understanding of human resilience to create compelling stories and practical solutions.

As the creator of the Toby Dunbar series, Dr. Wilson has developed a growing collection of dark urban noir mysteries that explore survival, loyalty, betrayal, redemption, and the difficult choices people make under pressure. His fiction is known for its raw authenticity, emotionally charged storytelling, and unforgettable characters navigating some of life's harshest realities.

In addition to his fiction writing, Dr. Wilson is the author of Ransomware Resilient, a cybersecurity and leadership book based in part on doctoral research and expert consensus from cybersecurity professionals. His work focuses on cyber resilience, ransomware recovery, business continuity, leadership decision-making, and organizational preparedness in an increasingly complex digital world.

Dr. Wilson earned his Doctor of Management degree and combines academic research with practical industry experience to help organizations strengthen their ability to withstand and recover from cyber threats.

Whether writing dark urban noir mysteries or exploring the challenges of modern cybersecurity, Dr. Wilson remains committed to stories and solutions centered on resilience, perseverance, and overcoming adversity.
