V. R. R. Richards’ interest in ancient aliens and space travel arose early in life, no doubt influenced by Roswell and Star Trek. In time, this curiosity grew into a crucial first job designing ballistic rockets, and being at the right place at the right time, opened the door to developing advanced computer systems in Silicon Valley. After another quantum leap, a research program in neuropsychology led to a doctorate in human behavior, brain function, and consciousness. But then, life took a twist. Due to an unexpected near-death experience, which became a blessing in disguise, Richards turned to writing science fiction. The tale about the ancient alien god, "Enki: Lord of Earth", earned a place as finalist in the Pulsar Sci-Fi Contest and semi-finalist in the ASA international competition for screenplays. The second book, "Enki: Queen of Vengeance", completes the series. Richards now lives among the redwoods, with beloved spouse and Siamese cat.
