She was born and raised by immigrant parents in the Bronx section of New York and now divides her time between Phoenix, Arizona and Long Island, New York. Virginia values education and has been known for teaching more than academics. She has been honored in Whose Who Among America’s Teachers. Her novels show the importance of dealing with the needs of others.
