Wesley Jackman is a fantasy author from Redding, California. A graduate of the United States Air Force Academy, he earned a degree in Systems Engineering before completing a Master's in Applied Systems Engineering from the Air Force Institute of Technology in 2020. He served 9.5 years in the U.S. Air Force before separating in 2022. For a long time, writing a novel felt out of reach—something reserved for other people. In February 2024, he finally committed to building the world of Valindar anyway. Light's Betrayal is his debut fantasy novel. He writes character-driven, fast-paced fantasy that explores power, sacrifice, and the human cost behind both.
