WardPaxton is a storyteller who has narrated over 50 audiobooks including the award winning biography of former Major Leaguer Cy Williams. After graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in broadcast journalism he embarked on a career spanning radio, tv, film, theatre, voice-over, and audiobook narration. He grew up a Cub fan in the Chicago area when the Wrigley’s owned the team and high school players could win a season’s pass for “meritorious service to baseball”, which was also fortunate because it wasn’t based on his hitting statistics. From spending that time at the ballpark baseball got a life long hold on him. Baseball stories are his favorite read with their unique blend of action and emotion told through the inimitable banter of baseball. He works from a home studio on beautiful Lake Monona in Madison, Wisconsin.
