Living on a houseboat and closely following the narrative of the novel Treasure Key, Wayne found himself in the heart of the treasure hunting scene, befriending local legends like Robert Moran, former Vice President of Marketing for Treasure Salvors, Inc. - the company responsible for discovering the legendary Atocha treasure. These real-life encounters sparked Wayne's imagination and fueled his desire to write. Drawing on his experiences and the characters he met, Wayne began crafting the Bric Wahl series, a collection of eleven novels featuring a tough, soldier-of-fortune protagonist inspired by his own adventures. Now settled in Melbourne, Florida with his wife Tina, Wayne continues to write, bringing his vibrant story to life on the page. His work is a testament to the power of pursuing one's passions and the incredible journeys that can result from a life lived with courage and curiosity.
