Winn is a husband, dad, friend and writer. He is the author of Love Big, Be Well: Letters to a Smalltown Church, Restless Faith: Holding on to a God Just Out of Reach, Let God: Spiritual Conversations with Francois Fenelon and Holy Curiosity: Encountering Jesus' Provocative Questions. Winn has also written the authorized biography of Eugene Peterson: A Burning in My Bones. Winn and his family live in Holland, Michigan where he is the Director of The Eugene Peterson Center for Christian Imagination at Western Theological Seminary as well as Associate Professor of Pastoral Theology & Christian Imagination. Winn received a Ph.D. from the University of Virginia where he focused on the intersection of theology and literary fiction.
