"War Dog" won BEST SCIENCE FICTION AND FANTASY SHORT STORY PUBLISHED IN 2018! In addition, Moon won this award again in 2019 (see below). And in 2020, Moon won this award for the third year in a row with "Muzik Man" in Deep Magic, Fall 2020. "Muzik Man" also received accolades in Tangent Online, and earned the honor of being a starred listing on the coveted Tangent Recommended Reading List published in 2020. Moon has won the international talent search for the best new writers in speculative fiction: the Writers of the Future Contest. His award-winning SF story, "Super-Duper Moongirl and the Amazing Moon Dawdler," was published in the bestselling anthology WRITERS OF THE FUTURE, VOL. 35.
