Yusuf Yaran is a #1 international bestselling author, Cornell-trained hospitality leader, Guinness World Record holder, and culinary Olympian. His journey began at 13 in a small Istanbul pastry shop. By 25, he had won Turkey's first pastry championship. His creations have earned international gold medals and featured on Forbes' list of the world's most expensive confections. In 2008, he was on Team A, which led Turkey to its first-ever debut at the World Culinary Olympics. Yusuf has trained under culinary legends including Pierre Hermé, Joël Robuchon, Max Thomae, Fabrice Canelle, and multi-Michelin-starred chef Paul Pairet. His hotel career spans prestigious brands, culminating in his role as Resident Manager of a 1000+ room luxury hotel in Southeast Asia.
