Writing under the pen name of Zu Barnes, Susan J. Z. Barnes grew up and currently resides in the deep south, along the Gulf of Mexico. She has two adult children and two beloved grandchildren, who live close by. A late-blooming international traveler, she has been to numerous countries and enjoys cruises with her sister. When not traveling or visiting friends and family, Susan has a simple life at home with her two dogs, Zuzu and Mimzy. Susan loves to write and she's excited to fulfill her dream of creating books, stories and poetry. She also enjoys work as a freelancer and ghost writer, assisting others with their writing needs. During her lifetime, Susan has had many interesting adventures and experiences, in addition to different career opportunities. She most fondly cherishes the 11 years she was a Walt Disney World Cast Member, and "special friend" of Cinderella's Fairy Godmother. Susan now works from home, where she is writing a novel and dreaming of her next adventure!
