Arthur C. Clarke Award

The Arthur C. Clarke Award is a British literary prize honouring the best science fiction novel published in the U.K. during the preceding year. The award is named after the science fiction author of the same name — famous for works such as Childhood's End — who gave a grant to establish the prize in 1987. Past winners include Margaret Atwood, Adrian Tchaikovsky, and Emily St. John Mandel.
