This book is difficult to review because some of the writing / plot is interesting and good. However, some of the writing isn't as tight as it could be and the book lacks a certain line of logic in certain parts. Yet, the main story idea was interesting but the ending was disappointing. So if you're going into this book expecting a happy ending, think again. The narration was good and held my interest during the parts of the book that dragged a bit.

Edit: there is a book 2 & it has a happy ending of sorts. I’d also describe book 2 similar to this book…a mixed bag
