Each book has a cliffhanger ending but the series will finish with a HEA.

Overall, it’s a solid series, but Book 4 feels like a letdown. The story had multiple natural stopping points already, and instead of delivering a powerful payoff, it feels unnecessarily stretched.

After the way Book 3 ended, I expected her to step into Book 4 fully unleashed — showcasing her power and decisively confronting her enemies. Instead, the narrative takes a slower route, expanding on side characters and extending conflicts that could have been resolved more impactfully. While that approach might work for some readers, it didn’t quite land for me.

At this point, I was honestly expecting significant consequences — even brutal ones — especially for certain characters, including her dragon and snake mates. But with the direction the story is taking, I wouldn’t be surprised if everything gets forgiven and smoothed over in favour of romantic tension (good sex between mates) instead. I'm also sure that anger will be focused on a limited number of people who did her mates dirty in the past, and I'm totally not interested in justice that not complete, as even some of her mates need to be utterly removed from her pack. All these possibilities makes it harder to stay emotionally invested.

There are stronger ways to build tension and conclude character arcs. With great difficultly 🤦‍♀️ I’ll keep reading to see how it all ends, love the series tho.🫶
