I loved this book in written form so much I had to get the audible as well. Victoria Connolly and Duncan Cole brought these characters to life. It was a fantastic listen. One I will no doubt listen again. They were able to add depth and passion to some of the best parts of the book. Not just the spicy scenes. Those were good too. Overall, whether you read it or listen, don't miss this one!

Finished my reread via audio, and wow—Duncan Cole is Chase ‘Red’ Thompson. Perfect voice, perfect vibe. The narrator choices for this audio were well picked. The tone and pace were really good, the emotions felt real and not ‘acted’.

Cassidy only wanted revenge... one night of fun on the hood of her ex’s car kind of revenge. But one night with Chase changes everything—she’s pregnant, and he’s all in. He’s determined to prove he’s the man she—and their baby—deserve.

Both tender and rugged—this cowboy romance has my heart.

Revenge was the plan, love was the plot twist!

This story hit all the feels for me. The story, the characters…… Chase (Red) is an amazing mmc.

Well Bailey Hannah is a Filthy Canuck. She writes the BEST, MMC’s with the dirtiest mouthes, and Red is no exception. Red the small town manwhore, when in actuality he’s a Golden Retriever. Cassidy is the town princess, not known for promiscuity. Until she propositions him with this….. Um, well if you agree, I was going to see if you’d fuck me on the hood of my ex’s car. Payback, you know! 😳 So he pounds her through her revenge!! He’s the literal sweetest and it takes her awhile to admit it to herself. There’s a big moment in the tub and it just makes you melt. Red’s first sleepover on the floor, listening and talking her through it, holy frick. Such a good read and many Canadian favourites from Aero bars to Ketchup chips!!

I loved this story so much! I think I had a smile on my face for 98% of this book, the other 2% I was crying. Red might just be one of my top 5 book boyfriends ❤️❤️❤️ the banter and spice was 🔥

Loving this series so far. This couple came from nothing, she pretty much couldn’t stand him, and through a single reckless night it changed their lives in ways that could only be described as fate. Another well written MMC, Chase was all the kinds of man you’d want. By the end their growth and love had proved to be inevitable. Good story with yummy spice! The narrators really knocked this out the park and brought the FMC and MMC to life with their emotion.

So sweet! Meat to be!

I was very nervous for this book because I have not been able to get past the first 60 pages of the first one in this series without falling asleep since May lol😴
However…. WHEN I READ THE AUTHORS DEDICATION. I SAID HELL YEAH THIS IS GOING TO BE A WILD RIDE. AND WAS IT EVER.
This Man is the dirtiest talking-cowboy EVER!!!!
This BOOK WIPED THE FLOOR WITH ME. SERIOUSLY ALL I have to say is CHASE MOTHERFUCKING THOMPSON. This is the man EVERY WOMAN deserves when pregnant. 🤰 I seriously don’t know what to do with my life now that this book is over.

RED ruined me for other book boyfriends. SERIOUSLY. I AM NOW UNWELL. 😩
