She was responsible for the introduction of the "Civil Rights for International Travelers Act" and the "Reasonable Search Standards Act" to protect the American people. During her tenure in the federal government, she received many honors both on the job and in the community. She is known as a woman in the business of uplifting and empowering her community. Her health and business initiatives for the entire community have helped her venture into uncharted territories where she is helping others transcend boundaries and create options.
