I have been writing for almost 40 years. My poems have been published on numerous website. I have been a finalist in several international poetry contest. In 2012 I was chosen as a finalist for one of the World Poetry Society's poetry contest, and selected as one of the World Poetry Movement's Who's Who in Poetry for 2012. I was born in Sapulpa, Oklahoma but have resided for the last two decades in Grand Rapids, Michigan. I have 4 daughters, and an unoffically adopted daughter. I happy boast about having 5 amazing grandchildren. Before 2008 I hardly ever allowed anyone to read my poetry, short stories, or fairy tales. But in 2008 I became a member of allpoetry.com the worlds largest poetry site and after years of encouragement and moral support from some of the worlds most amazing poets I slowly came out of my shell. Now I have my first poetry book available. It is 148 pages packed cover to cover with poetry. Many of the poems have been published. And a select few have been finalist in world poetry competitions.
