Jay S. Levy, LICSW has been working with people who are homeless in a variety of roles and settings for more than 20 years. He is a graduate of Columbia University receiving his MSW degree during 1987. He has provided clinical and outreach services to homeless people living in New York City, Boston, and Western MA. The settings for these clinical services includes the shelters, streets, woods, as well as mental health clinics, meal programs, drop in centers, and vocational programs. In addition, Jay has published three journal articles and a book that discusses the plights of chronically homeless individuals and pretreatment methods that can be used to help them. Currently Jay is the Western MA Regional Manager for Eliot CHS Homeless Services and is one of the architects of the REACH Housing First program that serves people experiencing long-term homelessness throughout the Western MA region.
