Bonjour mes amis! I've had a lot of adventures over the years, including teaching, traveling, co-founding a software company, reading a lot of wonderful books, and best of all, writing novels. I'm the author of fifteen published novels in various genres, including family sagas, historical and contemporary romance, romantic suspense, and general mainstream fiction. Publishers have included Doubleday, Dell, Penguin, Warner Books, Hachette, New American Library/Signet, Berkley/Putnam, Silhouette and Harlequin. Some of the awards I've earned over the years include the Rita award from Romance Writers of America for Leaves of Fortune; Best new historical novelist of the year from Romantic Times for Fires of Destiny; A Lifetime Achievement award from Romantic Times; I was also a Rita finalist for numerous titles. Most of my novels are currently out of print, but I will be reissuing them in ebook format over the next few months. The first to be released in its new edition is my historical romance, Fires of Destiny, which is available now! I've spent several months revising and polishing the novel that I always think of as the book of my heart. I will be delighted if new readers discover this updated, but classic historical romance. Fires of Destiny will be followed in a few months by Her Sister's Keeper, which is about the same family, several generations later. This fall I will release a series of sexy contemporary novels, tentatively entitled Blazing Nights, Wicked Nights, Silken Nights, and Forever Nights. The name of the series is Night Games, and it's about a group of college friends who still hang out, staying in touch frequently via an online computer game that one of them created. I love to read, and will consume almost anything written on paper in ink...or, well the fact is, I'm addicted now to my Kindle. I re-read Jane Austen and Dorothy Dunnett frequently, but my love of fiction encompasses just about every genre. I love to hear from my readers.
