About the Author: Rebecca Harrison was born and raised in Oregon, USA. Her academic credits include an M.S. in Education from Portland State University, located in Oregon. She was a high school teacher for students with disabilities for sixteen years. Rebecca has always been an avid writer, co-authoring her first book, Child Abuse: A Guide For Professionals, with Jean Edwards in 1983. Rebecca will be releasing a new kindle on kitchen design this year. She is also working on two main writing projects, one is researching paddle boats and stern - wheelers for a new book; she is also working on a new autobiographical look at her life since surviving a violent childhood.
