I have travelled extensively experiencing many cultures throughout the world. My interest in sailing originates from childhood. As a boy, standing on the beach at Mersea Island in England, I would fantasise on sailing out into the unknown on one of the Thames barges which sail quite close to the shore. After retiring from a career as an engineering product development manager in the automotive industry, I set sail in my yacht to explore the French coast and the Channel Isles. It was during these voyages the inspiration to write "When Dreams Converge" transpired. I wanted to create a plot that was full of suspense and adventure.
