Condescending to those with ADHD

I listened to this after it was recommended to me because my husband may have this condition. I do not believe he does, many things described do not apply to him. For example, he may be a procrastinator but is not disorganized enough for being labeled as such. His brain function is just fine, he tends to have anger issues but still I don’t feel this is ADHD.
The material itself was hard to listen to and became really annoying. Neuro-diverse couples, a phrase I soon hated. Giving Praise, Praise, Praise, like they are children. The game of I failed, you learned! Was not silly and fun as described, but something I refuse to play. The narrator was also annoying, sounding almost computer generated. I did not enjoy this book at all.

what a joke. blames any non add partner every less

This book is a joke. Spends a lot of time giving the collage 101 primer on add. Extremely few actual ideas to help the non add partner and repeated blames them for how rough the relationship probably is but provides absolutely none for the add partner other then to not actually do the work required.

Oh, a good bonus. Litterally one of the exercises is to wear a dunce cap. Another is having to praise your add partner in their screw ups at a 5:1 ratio .... how the hell are you supposed to bring up a small issue while giving them five huge praises!? This book just dismisses most of the English language and basic requirements of being an adult. I'd laugh if it wasn't so sad.
