The biggest issue I have with this series is the narrator. I just don’t like the cadence with which she reads. That being said, the story is decent and it’s an entertaining read.

I do love the relationship between Evie and the Villain, they are too funny with their banter. I'm loving that we are seeing more and more into Evie and what magic and power she hasmvi have a feeling she's gonna have something strong! I love Tristan and how he tries so hard to be the villain, but his heart is just a softy for Evie. excited for the next installment!

Loved the first book and was excited to read the second part. This one has some of the charm, but it dragged. Halfway through I could feel there would be no conclusion in this book. Be prepared that there is a third. I don’t think I’ll be downloading the third.
