Artificial Condition is the follow-up to Martha Wells's Hugo, Nebula, Alex, and Locus Award-winning, New York Times bestselling All Systems Red.

It has a dark past—one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself “Murderbot”. But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more.

Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don’t want to know what the “A” stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue.

What it discovers will forever change the way it thinks…

Performed by David Cui Cui, Elena Anderson, Alejandro Ruiz, Bradley Foster Smith, Carolyn Kashner, Eric Messner, Jeri Marshall, Ken Jackson, Marni Penning, Michael John Casey, Rayner Gabriel, Scott McCormick, Shanta Parasuraman and Yasmin Tuazon.

This one was sooo good! So funny and a captivating plot which the cast also helped create

Tied for first place

For those used to GraphicAudio then it comes as no suprise that this is another solid performance with great atmosphere added by the Full Cast. The main narrator (David Cui Cui) does a great job at getting into the mind of our favorite SecUnit, and the level of sass and sarcasm he delivers is amazing.

The pacing is very good, though I will note it's not *quite* Unabridged. A few lines here and there are omitted (not just the usual he said, she said that is obviously removed with a full cast recording that are just not needed when you have established voices for each character), but nothing that's incredibly important for the story as a whole, and definitely less than 5% of the total story.

The entire Murderbot Diaries series is a good pick for you if you enjoy humorous, action filled sci-fi with a decent sprinkling of the more technical elements (descriptions of how the tech works, etc) and indirect worldbuilding that is built upon by the character simply referencing things like social structures, politics, and colonization/corporations matter-of-factly as if the listener already would be familiar with them.

I devoured this book and moved on to the next very swiftly.

Another Solid Entry for our Favorite Sassy SecUnit

I have read Martha Wells Murderbot series previously, but the dramatized version adds new life to an already awesome story. Highly recommend!

Great character development in the series along with the audio enhancement really brings the series to life. Definitely recommend for fans of the murderbot series.

The introduction of ART is really well done.
