À propos de cet audio

They say the line that separates love from hate is thin. So thin, in fact, that the two almost coexist. Almost.

It's also been said that when a dude is a jerk to a girl, it's because, deep down, he wants her. I'm calling bullshit on all of it.

Tate Tracy is about to find out that I'm not the nice boy anymore. Nor am I a forgiving person. She might have been my best friend for eighteen years, but now, she's no one. And if I have to remind her of that, I will. Even if we're going to be stuck living in an apartment… together.

The trouble is, I've only ever had one weakness in life. And it's Tate Tracy.

Emotional ride

Link and Tate were childhood best friends who fell in love. When Link loses his mother and his best-friend at the same time, he hardens his heart determined to keep everyone out. Now, he has hockey and he parties and sleeps around with no plans to change that anytime soon. When Tate reappears in his life - and as his roommate - Link refuses to soften toward her even a little bit and makes sure she knows how much he hates her. But we all know that line between love and hate can blur quickly.

Tate's father is a dirtbag and also happened to be a professional hockey player. This made her determined to never fall for a hockey player. That didn't make her decision to leave Link any easier. When they reconnect again it is obvious that Link harbors a lot of resentment towards her. At times his anger toward her was a little over the top but he was clearly quite hurt by her leaving. Tate kind of got on my nerves at points with how wishy washy she was toward Link, but ultimately I really enjoyed their story.

Enjoyable book
