Love with a coworker is never simple, especially since Sadie's trying to keep us on the low. Not to mention her persistent ex-boyfriend who won't leave her alone. But I've never been good at giving up, and I don't plan to start now.

The whole thing is a recipe for a rocky road, but I plan to eat the whole gallon, no matter how bad the brain freeze.

The dialogue between the main characters was hilarious, it had me laughing out loud on several occasions. The cockiness of andrew tied with his sweetness is SOO my husband. This book was such a good listen! Though i felt the voice actor choice for andrew was a bit off, i didn’t hate the story any less for it.

I enjoyed it cause it was included in the plus category - I love Meghan Quinns books but this one wasn't my favorite from her - like ive said before she's the queen of second-hand embarrassment and this one had a couple of them! especially the morning after the party scene - I died laughing! The roommates are funny

I actually really like this story. It was cute but I’m struggling with how the men are acted out . I can’t figure it out why these voices were chosen. Voice actors generally have quite a repertoire.

The male narrator voice didn’t fit the character

I want to like this one so badly, and think the female narrator is great, but I just can’t get past how miscast Andrew seems to be. Meant to be college aged, he instead sounds like a 50 year old pretending to be a 70 year old. Sort of removes you from the story when the actor sounds off by decades.

Story itself is funny and characters are lovable, as Megan Quinn’s always are. Nice to see the girl be the more brooding of the sexes and the guy be the more easy go lucky one.

Worth a read, not a listen.

Can’t get past Andrew’s Voice

This is a sweet little rom-com. I listened to it on Audible, and it took me a bit longer to get through it, but I enjoyed it. Andrew, working as an ice cream scooper felt a little young and overqualified given his education. Sadie is a girl going through a hard time when Andrew starts at the restaurant, and the last thing she wants to do is train the new guy. Even if the new guy is a hunk.
There are plenty of awkward moments, spicy moments, and fun nicknames in this one. Secrets being kept always lead to a 3rd act breakup when they are discovered before being discussed before resulting in a HEA.
