This is another great series by Lynette Eason...be sure to get 1 and 2 first! Hard to keep track of all the bad guys, especially if it’s takes you a few days to listen to it!😬

Another amazing story that kept me guessing and on edge! I've been binging Lynette Easons books and can't stop! She always keeps it suspenseful and no two story's are the same, love it. Also thoroughly enjoy the aspect of faith in each one.

She just keeps going with amazing stories!

The main character has been through a lot and yet, instead of being hardened by it, she has become more kind and compassionate. That doesn’t mean she isn’t wary, and it doesn’t mean it hasn’t hurt and affected her. Eason handles the outcomes from that pain gently and with understanding, rather than with harsh judgment. I liked that. The suspense elements were exciting and the romantic elements were sweet.

The quality that jumps out at me in this book is compassion.

I wished the author included as much religion and prayers in the first book of the series (which was good and seemed "normal") as in this one... I would have immediately stopped reading it instead of becoming attached to the characters! First book was good. Second book got religion sneaked into it, but this one was nearly ALL about God and prayers... No to say I will not try another. At least mention it in the summary of something. Good thing this book was free. But a shame, because otherwise I really enjoyed it.
