quite slow I almost didn't finish it I put it down several times but I am really glad I did because the last half of the book is really sweet and I'd recommend this book to anyone

I loved this book in print and bought the audio version to listen to on my daily commute. My face hurt from smiling so much. I love it even more in audio.

This is one of my absolute favourites of MZ and have probably read it a half a dozen times. Listening to it in audio just made the whole experience feel like a warm hug🥰 I cannot wait to listen to her other books now that I’m hooked

The first few hours of the audiobook are a "pen pal" exchange, so it takes a while to build. The conflicts in these stories are mostly internal, so while that is as complex as you can imagine (if you are like me an argue with yourself more than you argue with others), it leads itself to be a nice, uncomplicated book nevertheless.

I enjoyed the idea of two narrators for the main characters, I do wish the book hadn't ended like it did; I felt that the books ending wasn't satisfying enough. #Audible1
