Paul Boehmer is by far the worst narrator any story has ever had the misfortune of being told by. He seems to feel the need to add pauses in places where no commas or periods are in the text. His accents for the characters make no sense. This man is continually changing his pronunciation of names and places. It is an amazing book and deserves a better reader. If i was Margaret Weis, I would be sorely disappointed to have Paul Boehmer ruining my work with his half assed attempt at narration.

Paul Boehmer is by far the worst narrator.

Really well performed, great story, timeless. Bravo Audible on this one, you did a great story justice!

I read them a few times but it was fun to have it read to me for once.
Honestly there are just two things that REALLY bothered me... I don't like the voice he chose to perform for Caramon. In my head Caramon had a much softer voice. Yeah he's big and strong but that doesn't mean he has to have a somewhat harsh or rugged voice. And the other is how he pronounce Mishakal, the goddess. He pronounce it more like Mishikal, then Mishakal and it really annoys me. But all in all its a great book a great story and the performance is well enough.. im being a bit harsh but .. what can I do.. it does bother me. I tell myself that soon, he wont mention it as often as the beginning of the first book.

I haven’t read this book in a long time. Still an amazing work of fiction. With great use of characters of different origins working together. Something our society today could learn from

My only complaint is the Narrator. He did amazing work and he didn’t drone on. No the problem is with around 9 main characters it really should have been done as a cast.

A great read for any age and a great introduction into the dragonlance series
