The Chronicles are a timeless adventure that quickly immerse you into the Dragonlance Realm, The narrator Paul Boehmer brings the characters to life and does an excellent job in providing a voice to adventurers we have known for years.

That said, I DO NOT RECOMMEND the Legends Trilogy, as Paul is not the narrator. The legends trilogy is narrated by
Ax Norman, and it is disappointingly terrible. He constantly mispronounces names, flip flopping from one way to the next, the characters are all voiced quick and flat. After such a wonderful immersive experience with Paul Boehmer, it's a saddening experience listening to the Legends trilogy.

I loved the Dragonlance books from my young years and now to hear them was good. The narration was very good, using various different voices for the characters and setting the landscape to the level I had imagined when I first read them. it's not often I will listen to a book multiple times but I will with the original trilogy of the Dragonlance series.

If you are reading this and are a fan of the D&D published books, this one takes place in not the typical "Faerun" setting but in the world of "Kryn". While there are other books in this world, this particular series builds the world from scratch very well and explains the rules and people of the world for those who don't know much about this universe. a great story with grey characters, would recommend.
