First, let me get my only complaint out of the way. I haaaaate the way she pronounced N'ton, very much, loathed it.
That being said The Harper Hall trilogy is one of my favorites. It always has been, I'm very sure it always will be.

This book captured my heart. It was slow and sad in the beginning but blossomed into a beautiful story

What a charming world McCaffrey created. Lovely, dynamic characters lovingly developed. Narrator Sally Darling is one of the best ever. Really Kate Reading is the only one I've heard that is in the same league.

This book is my go-to happy place.

This book introduced me to Anne McCaffrey’s writing. I have since read everything of hers I could find. I relate to the young girl who had a difficult time finding her place in the world.

A favourite book of mine

This is one of the first English books I read, and definitely a favorite. A relaxing retelling, hearing a different voice than my own inner voice.

The mixing is a little odd...some Chapters beginning a millisecond after the last word of the previous or a lengthy pause after. But that's a detail. Story still good

An old favourite

I first read Dragonsong in the 1980s in paperback, and enjoyed it every bit as much now, in 2024 as an audiobook. This book is brilliantly written and has aged very well, proving that fantasy doesn't need to be action packed, pre ent thr end of existence, be fullfull of teenage angst. A wonderful and timeless work. The reading is excellent.

A beautiful coming of age novel

I have loved this series of books since childhood. my mother and grandmother read them all to me as a child. The only issue with this is the skipping and the chapters are spaced weird. will listen it it again. Thanks 😊

The beginning is a bit long, but the chatacters are interesting, even if they are many. Well read, with a good rythm.
