Description

When Blair Beaufort literally crashes into Bellamy Creek wearing a ball gown and a tiara, I should have towed her car, said goodnight, and sent her packing.

I’m a mechanic, not a hotel manager. I've got enough on my plate trying to keep my shop from going under, my overbearing mother off my back, and my baseball team in contention for the league championship. I don’t have time for a former debutante with zero street smarts and a cash flow problem, even if she is crazy beautiful.

Problem is, she’s stranded in my small town, and I’m hiding a protective streak underneath my broody exterior that runs deep. So I offer her a place to stay and keep my hands to myself.

For exactly one night.

If only she weren't so gorgeous. So funny. So eager to please. She’s a disaster behind the wheel, but she drives me wild without even trying - at work, at home, in the back of my truck...I can’t get enough of the way she makes me feel.

But I know better than to think it can last. She wants a fairy tale, and I’m no prince.

So when it comes time for her to leave, there’s nothing I can do but let her go.

No matter how much it hurts to say goodbye.

a cute romp

I really enjoyed this cute book that got me through a massive book hangover from reading a heavy fantasy novel. It’s cute and romantic and funny. It was also super fun too check in with characters from her previous series. My only gripe was with the male narrator. He was so weirdly intense in intimate scenes and I would find myself having to pause and laugh because his narration was so odd and aggressive and intense. It took me out of the story, but the female narrator made up for it, honestly. Either way, if you can get past the male narrator sounding like an 80 year old woman and Voldemort at the same time, it’s worth it to listen to.

AH-MAZE-ING!!!!

Melanie Harlow... I can’t help it! She just continues to be one of my top three favorite authors, hands down! She did it again with this book! I’m already hooked on Bellamy Creek and I can’t wait for the next book! This series was inspired by Schit’s Creek and I desperately wish this was an actual TV series itself! These characters are amazing and I can’t get enough of ALL of them!!!
Griffin and Blair are incredible! Even the description of their physical appearances will make you swoon and fall in love instantly. These two will make you laugh, cry, gush, cringe, and fall madly deeply in love.
I can’t say enough about this book! It’s so good! I LOVED it!
Melanie, you’re something special!

Very cute storyline

Overall I enjoyed the book. However -The male narrator’s voice for Blair was not great especially in love scenes. He sounded like an 80 year old woman.

Enjoyable story

Melanie Harlow has done it again with a great story that maybe fate plays into our plans no matter what we want. Blair and Griffin are brought together by her car needing repairs after an accident. I hope this is the beginning of a new series about Bellamy Creek. There was a little connection with the Cloverleigh Farms books. Great writing and narration. I'm looking forward to more of Bellamy Creek.

Harlow is queen of Small Town Romances

Nobody writes small town romances like Melanie Harlow, its like watching a seriously good Hallmark Movie without the cheesy and lots of the steamy. I love grumpy Griffen and quirky Blair and the added treat of small visits from the Cloverleigh Farms characters. Only downside, having to wait for the next book. Oh and Rock Engle should narrate more books..Love.

Just okay

The usual from Melanie Harlow. Small town, family, second chances... I had hard time listening to the male narrator. The female was good. Overall, a good story. But nothing exceptional. I regret using a credit.

I love a good small town romance series!

I love a good small town romance series and Melanie Harlow creates the most unique and enjoyable stories. I found Drive Me Wild to be delightful- broody Griffin and sassy Blair were fantastic characters and it was so fun to watch their oh-so-different worlds collide and they just balanced each other out so well. Their story was sexy, steamy and heartfelt. I loved Blair's business acumen and Griffin's old guys baseball league was just plain endearing. The Bellamy Creek series is just fantastic. Vanessa Edwin was excellent as Blair.

The Mechanic and the Debutante!

Blue-collar mechanic, Griffin, saves fleeing debutante, Blair, when her car breaks down in front of him. Except she doesn’t think she needs saving (she so does) and he’s not all that thrilled with the prospect either. Until he spends 10 minutes in her presence and falls head over heels with the whole gown and tiara thing she’s got going on. Not that he’d ever admit that. If you love the whole grumpy falls for sunny trope, you will adore this start to the Bellamy Creek series! I loved the town, the gossip, the quirky folks, the friends.
Narrators Rock Engle and Vanessa Edwin do a wonderful job bringing these characters to life!

Wasn’t a fan of male narrator

Vanessa does a great job but I wasn’t a fan of Rock Engle’s female voices. Enjoyed the book but had a slower start for me.

The story was good at least

Loved the story but the male Narrator drove me crazy I almost stopped listening. He was rather aggressive, I understand he was trying to show emotion but dang there’s no need to yell.
