I listen to books while I'm at work, and I've been waiting awhile for this book to come out! It met my expectations from the reviews I've seen about it! Can't wait for the next book to come out 😊

Cons:
Similarities to other books (writing style, expressions used)

This story was good… it moved along quickly, it was witty, some laughs along the way, good banter and all that. The things I didn’t like is that it wasn’t fresh, it reminded me of other Romantasy stories that I’ve listens to (phantasms, the serpent and the wings of night). I did like the twist at the end, I think that saved the whole story and I will continue listening when the others become available. Plus Laura was narrating and she is the best!
