Landon Is My Favourite
I have listened to this entire series in audiobook form and Landen is defiantly my favourite. Duet style narration is by far the best kind of books and this was beautifully done. Shane East is on my top 5 list of male narrators, his voice is just like *DAMN* *PANTY DROP* I’m not even kidding!!! This was only my second Mackenzie Cartwright book and she did a brilliant job of Mia, she was just the right amount of sweet and sass.
Landon is a special kind of crazy, but I guess not having empathy will do that. Once he has his sights set on Mia he refuses to take “no” for an answer. Mia, who lost her voice from a traumatic experience when she was 8 is a sassy smart ass who doesn’t put up with Landon’s sh*t. There’s a definite cat and mouse game between these two and I loved listening to every minute of it as their stories unfolded.
I can’t wait to see what happens in the next two books of this series.

Loved this story can’t wait for the last 2 stories! Loved the duet narration way better than the other three audiobooks in this series! Also RINA KENT IS A QUEEN AND A GODDESS! Seriously I will read anything she writes! My favorite author! Can’t wait for December❤️

Was really excited to hear this one, Love all of Rina Kents series. I gave the story a 3 because I was dumbfounded on the reason or should I say who was behind Mias anxiety and mutism. like really!? she was supposed to be a mafia princess not Afraid of anyone Lan being one but afraid of....this person! like seriously disappointed. fell really short on the plot there. I honestly thought Mia was tougher. all the repetitive FMC being a virgin or not experienced is kinda getting old.. I hope there is more on Maya and the body gaurd later down the road. book was spicy as alway Rina Kent is great on the spice. not a fan on the Male narrator he sounded to old for my liking.

Fate after Revenge
What do you get when one has lost her voice after a kidnapping & another who rains hell on others just cause he’s too smart/genius artist and bored.
One pissed off Mia Sokolov drags her identical twin to give revenge for messing with her family…Mia is daughter of Russian mob Rai Sokolov & Kyle Hunter of New York. However all she did was put herself in the sight of Landon King, Landon parents Levi & Astrid King…was Mia really prepared for Landon. Well let me say it goes both ways Landon wasn’t prepared for this spitfire either and who knew they would be what each other need after a few twist & turns Rina Kent style. “ it all comes down to wearing the appropriate mask in the right situation and with the right people. It still bores me to tears though. People as a concept have only one merit the ability to be used. Other than that, they’re brainless, rotten species that I like to pretend I don’t belong to.”

why are all the f leads virginal pushovers?
DNF. All these groups of alpha males falling in love with virginal push overs. Ok Andrew Tate. It's getting kinda old. He's a handsome muscular womanizer that has ASPD. She's the virgin that threatens to castrate him only to be overcome by lust when he forces himself on her. Blah, blah, blah. I just need to take a break from Rina Kent. Her books are very repetitive. You know who writes a badass female character? J Bree. She writes a mean dark bully romance. She somehow is able to turn her (virgin) female leads into bad ass women that can not only take down men twice their size, but that are also intelligent and know their self worth. Same with Ashley Jade. she writes dark bully romance and they're not all copies of previous books she's written. In Meghan March's books, the women are equals to their male counterparts. I used to love Rina Kents books and i actually own all of the ones shes published but this will be the last. Im tired of reading the same book over and over again with slightly different plot lines, while all the girls are weak. The way my face looked when Mia said she would brutalize Corey or whoevers balls. Girl if you dont kick that man in the face and stomp his face for putting his mouth and hands on you. What type of woman who comes from a mafia family doesnt know how to handle themselves? be real. im over it. ill be returning this title with 2 hours left.

Steamy, dark and thrilling
I couldn’t wait to start this book once the audio hit my account. “God of Ruin” is a steamy, dark and thrilling romance that pulled me in with Landon and Mia’s cat and mouse attraction.
Mia is out for revenge and Landon is her target. Their schools are enemies and Mia is not afraid to get her hands dirty despite being a mute since the age of 8 when she and her sister were kidnapped. Landon is a classic sociopath who lacks empathy. Landon is intrigued by Mia and goes along with her games. But as the two tangle, their need to one up each other goes to unlikely attraction. But the monster that kidnapped Mia is still very much present and threatening her again.
Landon is a special kind of chaotic and I loved getting an insight into his mind. He had zero empathy and a beast within that had no problem being unleashed. The only thing that could tame him was Mia. Mia is a certified baddie and despite losing her voice, she commands respect and the room wherever she’s at. She stood toe to toe with Landon and never backed down. I loved their game of cat and mouse and despite how different they are, they truly worked. The plot twists we had with the monster that haunted Mia had my jaw dropping and I didn’t see it coming. The ending had me wanting more from this series and I can’t wait for the next book.
Shane East and MacKenzie Cartwright were phenomenal in their performances and brought this dark story to life. Shane went extra dark and growly to be the complex character that is Landon King. I loved MacKenzie as Mia and she brought all of Mia’s emotions to life beautifully.

Consistently Hits the Spot
Ms Rina it in the top ranks for me in this genre and she didn’t disappoint here. I always find the complaints annoying b/c it’s like, this material isn’t coming out of left field. What do you think you’re going to get when the author focuses on the anti-hero, villain, enemies to romance type books? If you’re not into it, don’t read it. This isn’t YA or fluffy. Rina is queen of this genre!
I enjoyed the progression of the series and continuing of the “story” that runs through all of the books in this series with the new and different angles.

Unbelievable
I hated Landon in all the other books I was not looking forward to this story at all… This is the best love story in the series!! Their love is unmatched and the ending brought tears of joy 😍🥹 another masterpiece!

I love this
the fact that they close to do it as a duet. great story and passion. I could feel every emotion that was written.
