Greg is terrible
I love Patty King books. She creates amazing female characters and storylines that captivate you and keep you laughing. However this book drove me nuts. I could not stand Greg. He was such a chauvinistic arrogant person. I did not understand how Fiona would stay with him given the choices he made. Well she did express anger and frustration it was nothing near what I think a normal woman would’ve done. I do not think his character was at all tolerable. That said the story was intriguing and had a fun cast of characters.

Ok
Did not enjoy this book as much as the others in the series. Did not expect spy and action in a book that I was expecting to be seeing just people interactions, romance and witty humour. If I wanted action I would have searched that genre.

No idea what Fiona sees in Greg.
I feel like Penny was watching too many spy movies when she write this one. I was cheering for a divorce by the end. Greg isn't funny. He's arrogant and controlling and if this couple were on 90 Day Fiancé millions of people would be telling Fiona to leave his selfish butt until he spends some quality time with Sandra's friend Matt (or whatever his name is).

Terrible! Do not waste your time.
This book was a massive disappointment. I have loved all of the other books in this series but I couldn't even bring myself to finish this one. It is a complete divergence from all of the other books in the series. The other books are pure rom com, providing lots of laughs and some great romance. This did none of that. It almost feels as if this book was written by someone else under Penny Reid's name. It is so oddly different. Unlike the others, there is no romantic tension between the characters, and definitely no humour. The plot is seriously lacking and totally unbelievable. The Male character is domineering and controlling, almost to the point of being abusive. There is nothing likeable or endearing about him. And the narrators are awful, especially the guy. His voice is definitely not on par with the sexy voices of the other male characters in this series. Rather, it is whinny and creepy. It is very rare for me to not finish a book, but I just couldn't bring myself to waste any more of my time on this one. Do yourself a favour and skip this one, you'll be glad you did.

worst "romance" novel I've ever read
I haven't even made it the full way through this book because it is the worst book I have ever read in my life. I like to think I'm pretty easy to please when it comes to books/ movies. but Greg was absolutely intolerable. I was cheering for a divorce within the first few chapters of the novel! He's arrogant, controlling, narcissistic, and downright grumpy. He has a crappy attitude and treats Fiona like actual garbage. there was not one iota of romance in this novel whatsoever, which was very surprising because I really enjoyed the books that came before this one in the series. I even cried at Ashley and Drew's story! Skip this one if you can, it's absolutely awful

Fiona needs to punch Greg in the face
WTF is wrong with Greg. I so so so want to like his character, but he makes it basically impossible. Fiona should have been relieved he was going to potentially die, not go save the prick.

Nope. Just don’t.
No plot apparent within the first 3 chapters. Characters are not cool. Always left me feeling yucky. Could not continue.
