I thought I understood power.

The Author and Narrator do a wonderful job complimenting each other with these stories.

Zylas and Robin get deeper into the investigation of what's happened with their families. I love Robin, Zylas and Amalia's dynamic together. their personalities clashing just make for hilarity.

This is where the Demonized and Guild codex stories start to cross paths really so if you haven't checked out the Guild Codex series yet. bucket p and enjoy the ride into a wonderful world of magic and fun.

Love these books, they suck you in.

I don't know if it is because the book overlaps with Druid Vices and Vodka at the beginning or I have binges this series but I was preparing to be hugely disappointed by another retelling

And I was completely wrong! This series is quickly out shining its sister and Annette Marie can be a little more scandalous in this series. Finally Ezra and Robin are teaming up.

I can feel the two series winding down from here that Robin and Tory's stories have both climaxed and are heading into the finally (which I expect to be as juicy and page turning).

I really hope this is just the beginning for the Guilded codex multiverse. Honestly I don't know how Anette Marie will follow it up, but I really hope she has more stories to tell in this universe.

Another great book by Annette Marie - I have most of them and go back and re-listen to them all. They are always a delight. This one has the twists and great dialogue that I enjoy. I had a different ending in my mind - I was glad that Annette managed a different one!
