Tom Reed is a crime reporter with The San Francisco Star whose superb journalistic skills earned him a Pulitzer nomination. But years later Reed's life is coming apart. His editor wants him fired. many characters to keep track of early on in the story but comes together pretty quick. Subject matter was disturbing but nothing too grossly descriptive. I will give a listen to another title from these characters for sure.

Highly recommend reading it. Entertaining, well written, edge of my seat at times. I can't wait to hear more. Narrator was excellent.

Really surprisingly great story. At first I was thinking maybe good for kids but as I listened I realized how not kid-friendly this story is. A lighter who done it, with twists and turns.
