I like this narrator more. The previous speaker made Erin’s voice “too high” in my personal opinion.

I had a nig worry about the narrator change but she did a great job. Obviously took a little getting used to but did a great job overall. I love the wandering inn series, another great book.

I have loved this series and was so excited to get the new book. However I’m struggling with the new narrator. Andrea just did such a fantastic job of making each character stand out. Now I can’t tell who’s talking. And I really don’t like the antinium voices. Not sure that I can continue on with the series, which breaks my heart as this was always my most favourite listen.

The book was like the others, it started out slow and picked up at the end. it ended on a very exciting point. feels like many things happened and nothing happened. (it feels like a filler book that sets up stuff to come)

the new reader is okay, the change is not something I'm happy about. it's always going to be off-putting any time I relisten to the series. may of the characters voices are hard to tell apart and thoes that are distinct are are different in a way that is very off-putting.

it was fine. if this was the series from the start I don't think it would be as popular as it is.

You know when you watch a TV show and after 15 seasons with some seasons having suuuper long episodes, And they change every single character in the show but they are still trying to be the same characters? that's this book. As the title says, I listen while operating heavy equipment and have audio books on in the background. I can't do that with this book. I don't hate it, but I don't have the time to understand who's talking, and end up rewinding to understand. the antinium sound like cat people, and I just feel lost when trying to enjoy a book I loved. I only got a couple chapters in, and I know some people said you just needs like 15 hours to get used to the new voices, or something... that's more time than several seasons of some tv shows. I work, books are an escape. I can't seem to escape when this book is playing. love the series. but knowing there's lots of sexual content and how hard it is for me to take the book in how I normally do. I'll be stopping this series for now. maybe if the reviews on the next book are good I'll finish this one. but for now... I sadly say good day.

I guess I’m in the minority but it’s such a relief to have Erin (the character, not the narrator) not sound like nails on chalk. Her voice is perfect in this, and I was able to enjoy the book so much more because of it. I also prefer the new narrator’s depiction of drakes, I found the previous over-pronunciation of s-sounds a bit much at times. Looking forward to the next book!

Not gonna lie I was not liking the new narrator at first but I said I would give it a good listen and by the chocolate interlude i started to really like the new narrator and by the end of the book I honestly loved the new spin on most of the characters though I do miss the Titan of boleros’s accent from Andrea other than that Erin did a fantastic job

I listen to it twice so far.
it was ok. Andrea is such an amazing performer,artist and scene reader. she really sold you the story, characters and scene.
Erin did amazing and really really got better later on on the book.
unfortunately she couldn't do some voices like Floss, Titan and many guy voices. like one person said she should have listened to all the books first like 3 times to truly understand the story and voices.

I really love this series its my favorite and Ill always listen . Pirate love your work !

its just some scenes were very important in the story and her voice and performance didn't hit the scene the way it should. sometimes funny moments weren't captured. I thought the writing was funny but the voice didn't sell it.

the story was good. finally something about Rags. mating rituals... like someone said , no one cares lol not maybe women who knows , definitely men dont care .

the story answered some questions which was nice. also lead to more story twisted and branches .

im excited and eagerly waiting for more books .

maybe Andrea can do some voices. ? or come back lol sorry Andrea i know it was too much for you. but if you do 1 book a year , we would be more then happy !

Im not sure if im the biggest fan but I might have the most listen to hours for this series lol probably like 5-7 times for most books in series.

I was blown away at how seamlessly the new narrator came into the story making it her own but also respecting the voices.

to know that this isn't even the mid way point has me so excited for what comes next! Hopefully new narrator helps increase pace of audio book catch up! bring on more!
